Precision Medicine and Personalized Health
28 September 2018 | Campus Biotech, Geneva
Following the successful 2016 Spring Conference of the Federation of European Academies of Medicine (FEAM) in Switzerland, the second European Conference on «Precision Medicine and Personalized Health» took place at Campus Biotech in Geneva, on 28 September 2018. Nearly 200 participants from 28 countries responded to the invitation of FEAM and SAMS to discuss the latest developments on the topic. SantéPerSo was involved as partner of the event.
The conference provided an ideal platform to hear the views of international experts on the state of Personalized Health with regards to research, national and international networks, promising clinical applications as well as ethical, legal and societal implications.
Two related events on the same topic took place at Campus Biotechin in Geneva before the conference: a 4-day summer school for 80 young researchers from accross Europe, co-organized by the European Society for Pharmacogenomics and Personalised Therapy (ESPT) and the Swiss Personalized Health Network (SPHN). In addition, the FEAM European Biomedical Policy Forum held a cross-sectorial round table on «Precision Medicine and Personalized Health».
